About Furniture
Wood is a product of nature and needs attention
Teakwood contains oils which make it stable and durable for years, nevertheless it is a nature's product with natural characteristics and therefore need treatment. If the treatment is poor, the original color of teak will be gradually faded and it becomes silver-grayish.
To maintain its beauty and the original color teakwood needs to be regularly scrubbed with sandpaper and lubricated with teak oil.
If mold is found on the surface of teakwood furniture, it can be removed by rubbing it off with a wet cloth, dry the furniture under the sun, scour again with sandpaper and after completed dry, rub the surface with oil (teak oil).
